About Sue Kingham

A bit about Sue Kingham

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand — a beautiful coastal city framed by the Southern Alps. Most mornings, you’ll find me walking the Port Hills, taking in the views and listening to the native birds.

Originally from England, my husband and I moved to New Zealand in 2000. We’ve been married for over thirty years and are grateful to call Christchurch home.

I’m an active member of my church community, a keen gardener, and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

When I’m not writing or out in the garden, I love sharing good food and conversation with family and friends — always with Molly, my cat close by.

What I love to read

I’m an avid reader with eclectic tastes — from Religious historical novels to murder mysteries, I always have a book (or four) on the go.

I also enjoy painting, taking photographs, and I cherish the time I spend with my young grandson.

I belong to an active book group and love a good page-turner. There’s nothing I enjoy more than curling up with a well-told story.

I’m also a keen audiobook listener — perfect company on long walks or while pottering in the garden.
