Author of Non-Fiction & Religious Historical Fiction
Hello, and thanks for stopping by
I’m Sue Kingham — an author, walker of hills, and lifelong lover of stories.
Writing has brought me great joy and purpose, especially since the 2011 Canterbury earthquakes nudged me firmly onto this creative path. I write both fiction and nonfiction, and I’m especially drawn to stories that explore resilience, faith, and the bonds between people.
When I’m not at my desk or out in the garden, you’ll find me enjoying life in beautiful Christchurch with my husband, our growing family, and our long-haired cat, Molly.
Dyslexia Octopus
Dyslexia: Wrestling with an Octopus 10 Tips to Help Your Child
(Beth Beamish is my non-fiction pen name)
Recommended by accredited dyslexia tutors and assessors for parents and those working with dyslexic students.
‘I’m a specialist dyslexia assessor and teacher. I was looking for a book to recommend to parents of children I assess and teach. I wasn’t expecting to learn much from the book because I’m a specialist. I was wrong! I highly recommend this book to parents, teachers, specialists and anyone who wants to educate themselves about dyslexia!’
